Hi-hat sizes range from 12″ to 17″ in diameter. For a softer sound, try the Classic light hats (14″ to 17″). Looking for a stronger “chick”? Try the Classic medium hats (12″ to 15″). Need a fast and crisp “chick”? The 14″ Flat bottom with holes might be the answer! Perhaps you can’t make up your mind whether you like the Classic or the Studio series better. We might just have the answer for you: the 17″ Classic/Studio Hybrid combo!

Fantastic sound. Played several different hi hat brands and settled on this one as my main pair. If you are wondering if the 15″ or 16″ is right for you, go for the 16″. Have played both and I recommend the 16″ better.
