Custom Dry Ride Cymbals and the entire Custom Dry Series combine the production methods of original Turkish hand made cymbals with a new look and sound. Heartbeat Custom Dry cymbals are a special series that features the unique finish of the Custom Series  (an unlathed surface with a brilliant lathed finish around the edges). The difference is the lathing is reduced considerably from the Custom series to produce an extremely dry, quiet and very short resonance.

The Custom Dry series features limited sizes with 22″ and 24″ rides, 18″ and 20″ crashes and 15″ hi-hats. They are extremely popular for venues that have lively sound issues, like gymnasiums, or where there is a lot of brick or concrete.

While some cymbals from other companies may look like Heartbeat cymbals, we work to ensure specific shaping, hammering, finishing, lathing and weight of each cymbal meets Heartbeat specifications. All Heartbeat cymbals carry a two year limited warranty.

Special note: All Heartbeat cymbals generally produce lower volumes than most machine made cymbals. In most cases, the Classic, Studio, Custom or Epic series will be ideal and are the most popular for worship settings. The Custom Dry series is even more subtle, and we are finding that some drummers are trying to get more volume from this series by hitting the cymbals much harder. This is resulting in edge cracks that are not covered under warranty.

Shipping within Canada and the United States is free for orders $200.00 and over. There is a flat charge of $25.00 for all orders under $200.00. Shipping costs for international orders will be provided upon receipt of your order but prior to payment being completed.
