Bio

Born October 6th, 1987, Zac grew up in a very small town in Northern Canada. He began playing drums at the age of four and has not slowed down since. Playing in bands, churches, studios, streets and stages, Zac is known as a drummer with intense, captivating drum beats, incredible time feel, discipline and Imagination. He is also renowned for his high energy trash kit performances during the summer months.

Gauthier has been apart of many projects and genres ranging from progressive rock, alternative, metal, pop, folk and christian contemporary. Zac has also partnered with Studio9, a private arts school in Kelowna, where he teaches drums and music full time.

He endorses Parish Drums, Promark Drumsticks, Heartbeat Cymbals and Ancient Tree Drums. Among some of his musical endeavors, Zac played drums for three and a half days straight to raise money for an organization called Child of Mine which supports children in India in hopes of giving them a bright future. He is the drummer and musical collaborator for Andrew Judah. Zac resides in the breathtaking Okanagan Valley with his beautiful wife Kayla.
