Robert Hailey was introduced to music while in the womb as his Mom sang for different groups in the gospel arena. She taught her son to sing as a toddler, and signed him up for the world renowned Indianapolis Children Choir (ICC) to receive more knowledge about music. Without really knowing it, Hailey received valuable ear training very early on and he compares this to growing up in a musical household.

Learning something that early on sticks with you for life and shows you another side of music. This separates him from many other drummers with a less melodic ear. He took a few years of piano lessons before switching to the drums at the age of 9 while living in Indianapolis, Indiana. At this time he began learning how to play the drums by ear from the radio, TV, Church and from other local musicians. Hailey went to school for music performance at Broad Ripple Magnet High school in Indianapolis, Indiana and Full Sail University for music production, Hailey has had the pleasure of working under many different titles as a Drum Programmer, Music Director, Music Arranger, and has had the pleasure of working with a variety of great musicians and artist such as Tiara Thomas, Ebuka ‘’Teeklef’’ Unogu, Napoleon Williams, Koerry Mitchell, Rhymz Suhreal, Matt Wilson of The Matt Wilson Band, DJ Redbone, Steven Potaczek, Stan Wilkerson, Kevin Wilder, Charity Black, George Taylor, Maxie317, Steven Deshaun James, Leah Rowe, Kelly D Hershey, Rev Gregory Squires. Also Hailey has also been featured in a video called Waves by Rhyme Suhreal.

Hailey is a performer first that thrives in live concert settings. With over 16 years of experience, Hailey has been a judge for the Guitar Center drum off for the Indianapolis, Indiana district. Hailey has been heard playing for different organizations.(ICC) Indianapolis Children Choir, Rodney Bryant IYGMC, New Era Church, The Indianapolis Baptist State Convention, Mount Olive Church, The Indianapolis Circle City Classic pregame show, The IU soul review camp, Connection Pointe Church, DB Studios, The Indianapolis State Fair concert, Marshfield walk for cancer concert, Marshfield Beer Fest, Indianapolis City Mosaic, Kentucky State University Concert Choir, North Ridge Church. Hailey also worked for the Indianapolis Public Schools system (IPS) as the percussion Instructor for Broad Ripple Magnet High School and Washington High School.

Since moving to Wisconsin in May of 2015 Hailey has had the distinct honor of working with other bands and musicians such as Joe G, Hub city Jazz Band , In the Groove Band, Eddie Beavers, Kayy Nova, Lake Wisdom, Galynne Goodwill, Lor Chang, Elated Sun. During the same time Hailey broke his metacarpal bone in his right hand in three places and had to have surgery and a metal plate put in his hand, while his hand was healing Hailey kept pushing forward to brand him self and started a HaileyMuzic fan page while working on getting his hand back in shape. Hailey is currently working on his brand HaileyMuzic. He is the music director and drummer for Lake Wisdom and also Kayy Nova and is still working with a lot of other musicians, artists and organizations such as Teeklef, Eddie Beavers, North Ridge Church, and Connection Point Church.
