Bio

Ian Foster first started playing music in middle school when he took lessons to learn the piano. After playing piano for two years, he taught himself how to play the guitar and bass. But he never picked up a set of drum sticks until he joined a local surf-rock band, Fifield, his sophomore year of high school in 2013.

After joining the band as a guitar player, he quickly taught himself how to play drums in order to fill the percussion void in the group. He then went on to join the worship team at Rise Church in Jacksonville, FL in 2014, as their drummer. After graduating high school, and the separation of Fifield, he continues to play drums at Rise Church, as well as performing as a contract musician for Ascension Worship.
